Question: Can we use this outdoor? What is the area it would cover?
Answer: Yes, but I would bring it inside if it rains or is muggy out since there’s a cooling fan. I would say if you put it in your house it would easily cover your entire house!
Question: How many mW of power?
Answer: It's 500mW as well as it's strong enough for the height I want to use it at (about 22 feet)... I need something more powerful.
Question: Can I program the laser light for one pattern only?
Answer: Yes, you can choose someone special pattern that you like, stop the cycle of a laser by the remote control.
Question: How large of an area does this cover? We want it for a large room in a finished basement and want to make sure the coverage is broad enough?
Answer: It covered our room of30x30 just fine.
Question: Can this be left outside? (Apartment balcony)
Answer: It depends. It's not rated for outdoor. The big problem is with condensation internally. So if you're outside weather never drops below the dew-the point, and it doesn't get rained or snowed on, it's probably fine for limited amounts of time.
Question: Can the unit be set to react to music? Can speed be altered to music response? Are there videos available of it responding to music?
Answer: Yes it can be set to react to music. The speed can also be altered to go fast or slow. There is a setting in the remote when you press the button which activates it. When the music starts the lights come on and go with the beats.
Question: Can this device sit on a table and project on the ceiling?
Answer: Yes, of course.
